Careers at Eventwell Group
An events practice in Port Chester. Long event days, honest budgets, and no client held by a contract they cannot move.
Why work with us
No commission chasing
Nobody is compensated on supplier bookings, so recommendations are about suitability.
Time in lieu taken
Weekend and evening event work is paid back as time off that is actually used.
Real negotiation experience
You negotiate terms the client then signs, which is a sharper discipline than negotiating for yourself.
Published salary
Every advertisement carries the real range and an honest account of event-day hours.
Current vacancies
All roles are based at our Port Chester, NY office unless stated otherwise. Salary ranges are published with every advertisement.
Events Manager
Manages client events end to end and arranges the supplier contracting that defines how this practice operates, including negotiating terms the client then signs directly.
What you will do
- Manage corporate events and activations from brief through to reconciliation
- Recommend and negotiate with suppliers, then prepare agreements for the client to sign directly
- Ensure every supplier agreement, permit and insurance arrangement is executed in the client name rather than the agency name
- Decline any commission, rebate or incentive offered by a venue, caterer, production company or staffing agency
- Build run sheets with timings, responsibilities and supplier contacts, held by the client as well as by us
- Establish union, load-in and venue-specific rules before the schedule is built
- Reconcile every supplier invoice against the agreed budget after each event and report variances including our own
- Work event days including evenings and weekends, with time in lieu taken afterwards
